Responsibilities:
Solution-focused problem solver diagnosing and implementing permanent manufacturing solutions through a structured approach.
Drive continuous improvement by leading Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, ensuring highest product quality through robust processes like GMP, NCR, and CAPA.
Improve production flow to achieve quality at source, rapid feedback from inspections. Ensure product specifications are met through concise standard work.
Lead teams in validation activities, analyze and implement innovative improvements in operational performance using OEE metrics: Yield, Uptime, and Performance.
Mechanical design of jigs and fixtures to meet manufacturing requirements, optimize machine changeover time, and improve maintenance.
Evaluate new equipment, processes, and chemicals for environmental impact, adhering to Plant Safety and Health & Safety requirements.
Contribute to enhanced energy performance by conserving energy where possible (Lighting, Equipment, Air Conditioning etc).
Contribute to OH&S, Environmental, and Energy Management system improvements through participation, feedback, and reporting incidents.
Qualifications:
Knowledge/experience of validation techniques, associated regulatory requirements, and statistical data analysis.
Demonstrate a motivated and flexible approach with results-oriented attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage complex technical projects through Project Management methods and tools, promoting cross-functional teamwork.
NFQ Level 8 in a Technical Discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics or Biomedical) with two years relevant industry experience.
Project Management and Six Sigma qualifications are advantageous, as is Problem Solving, Process Improvement, Data Analysis, and Project Management experience.
