Fleet Superintendent - Dublin or Rosslare (€75,000 - €90,000)

Some of your key responsibilities:
1. Develop and uphold budget control for assigned vessels, ensuring expenses stay within set figures.
2. Provide the Fleet Manager with insights into discrepancies and propose actions to reduce costs.
3. Review ship orders for repairs, dry-docking, refits, spares, and supplies, ensuring adherence to company purchasing protocols.
4. Oversee technical operations to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain vessel certifications.
5. Conduct audits per company schedules and report serious safety and pollution incidents promptly.
6. Keep the Fleet Manager and DPA/CSO informed of any factors impacting vessel safety or efficiency.
7. Ensure vessel procedures align with Company SMS and legal standards by attending and inspecting vessels.
8. Monitor vessel performance and report any technical issues to the Fleet Manager.
9. Track the Planned Maintenance System to ensure timely task completion and KPI compliance.
10. Regularly inspect vessels, document findings, and ensure necessary certifications for new or chartered vessels or route changes.
11. Analyse technical incident reports and coordinate corrective actions.
12. Coordinate with the HSEQ & Security Department and the Designated Person as needed.
13. Attend Shipmanagement meetings and communicate concerns.
14. Liaise with external entities like Flag State, Class, and P&I Clubs, and assist with accident or incident investigations.
15. Lead or support projects as directed by the Fleet Manager and/or DPA/CSO.
16. Ensure compliance with internal environmental policies and regulations.
17. Collaborate with Senior Master, Senior Chief Engineer, and People Department on staffing in Deck and Engine Room departments.

Who you are

Qualifications:
* Full Driving Licence.
* Senior Mariner, Senior Marine Engineer or Equivalent Experience.
* Leadership Experience.
* RoRo/RoPax experience desirable.
