Quantity Surveyor Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Kilkenny. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the surveying function of allocated projects, reporting to the Senior Project Cost Manager & Commercial Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and approve contract documents, providing support to the financial controller and directors.
* Prepare cost reports for clients, with contractually compliant supporting documentation as required.
* Manage subcontract and material procurement schedules.
* Administer subcontractor/supplier accounts, monitoring and authorising payments.
* Maintain up-to-date Cost to Complete and cost reports for projects.
* Prepare, negotiate, and agree change events, extension of time claims, final accounts etc.
Requirements:
* Strong computer skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and spoken communication skills.
* Proven track record of ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise deadlines.
* Ability to take a professional, organised, and positive approach to problem-solving.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Professional qualification required.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
