We are seeking a Practice Development Education & Research Facilitator: ADON for a private hospital in Galway, Ireland.
Temporary (2 years) Part-Time, 28 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
* Organise the quality assurance programs for nursing services in a way that will support and guarantee the provision of the best possible person-centered nursing care.
* To improve patient outcomes and clinical efficacy, person-centred nursing practices—which form the foundation of existing care processes—must be preserved and advanced.
* Encourage organisational developments and initiatives that are essential to maintaining advances in nursing practice while also catalyzing change.
* Assist the Nursing Director with the nursing profession's strategic planning and long-term growth.
* Lead by example in the nursing profession to foster greatness.
* Be in charge of organizing and facilitating the Nursing Department's schedule for professional development, continuing education, and clinical audits.
* As needed, give senior nurse management operational support.
Requirements
1. Be registered in the general division of the Register of Nurses maintained by NMBI
2. Possess a minimum of two years experience or involvement in clinical practice management, practice development, education, or quality improvement during your five years of post-registration nursing experience.
3. Show that you are knowledgeable about nursing and midwifery practice development and quality improvement within the context of acute hospital care services.
4. Possess up-to-date knowledge of all publications about nursing education, training, learning, and midwifery professional development.
5. Prove that you understand clinical audit and quality care metrics.
6. List that you understand research and have the abilities necessary for evidence-based practice.
7. Provide that you are prepared to encourage, support, and participate in change management.
8. Show a dedication to both professional and personal growth.
