Base Location: Dublin

The role
The UAT Manager will be responsible for managing and supporting our UAT team. These User Acceptance Testers work in close collaboration with business users, process owners, and our platform teams to deliver quality outcomes for customers and stakeholders.
You will
Manage a team of UAT Specialists, setting individual and team objectives, whilst coaching and mentoring them to be a high performing team.
Support / Drive a quality-first approach to delivery - using Agile ways of working in collaboration with the IT teams, to ensure that defect slip-through is minimised.
Oversee the creation of detailed UAT test cases and scripts in partnership with business stakeholders, developers and testers. Provide UAT effort estimates and plan the allocation of the team members to support the various delivery teams.
Look for opportunities to introduce automation in association with DevOps practices to increase regression test efficiency.
Establish and monitor key metrics as success factors and analyse the data to identify opportunities for improvement.
You have
A well-rounded understanding of both the business needs of a large utility company and the requirements and expectations of its customers.
Working knowledge of the typical business functions, processes, procedures and systems.
Test experience including creating manual and / or automated test scripts, test data management and reporting.
Good Agile knowledge and an understanding of Scrum / Kanban development processes.
Strong people management and communication skills.
