We are looking for a Digital Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will use your skills, experience, and ideas to help shape the experience of students and teachers who use Studyclix.
As the Digital Business Analyst, you will be responsible for eliciting, documenting, and helping to ensure the successful delivery of business requirements that deliver:
* Digital experiences that delight Studyclix users
* Improved internal technology-enabled capabilities
You will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight and delivery for a product-focused team, delivering changes prioritised by the Product Manager, and ensuring the overall scope and technical requirements for assigned sprints are understood and implemented.
Essential to the role is the ability to work closely and collegially with the product team (Product Manager, UX/UI Designer, software developers) and other parts of the business (Sales, Customer Service, School Success, Content) to ensure the business leverages technology effectively and achieves our business objectives.
What You’ll Do:
In your role, you will collaborate with different people across a range of skill sets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
* Work closely with the product owner and delivery team to focus on value-driven delivery that supports innovation, optimisation, and maintenance of our digital product and internal applications.
* Be a champion for the Agile way of working and help ensure improvements to increase the team’s productivity are implemented.
* Ensure product development sprints are planned: stay 2-3 sprints ahead, ensuring clarity and readiness for each feature.
* Identify and remove impediments and obstacles on behalf of your team.
* Build and maintain a strong understanding of our existing system and application landscape as a building block for future solutions.
* Work closely with the UX/UI Designer to determine design requirements.
* Periodically conduct user interviews and user testing to gather requirements and translate them into acceptance criteria for the product team to work to.
* Conduct functional testing to validate that the solution meets the requirements.
* Work closely with the User Acceptance lead to ensure functionality can go live and begin to deliver value.
* Triage and prioritise live issues/defects.
What You’ll Bring:
* Minimum of 2 years’ practical experience in a Business Analysis role in a digital environment.
* Experience using work management tools (such as Jira, Azure DevOps or similar).
* Experience of testing applications.
* Preferably a certification in Agile Product Ownership, Scrum Master, or equivalent.
* Proven ability to empathise with customers.
* Self-motivated and committed, with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
* Curiosity and hunger to learn and implement new technologies.
* Understanding of machine learning and AI basics.
