We are partnered with a Global Engineering Consultancy looking for a MES Engineer to add to their MES Consultant team.
Based in Ireland, this company has presence in 5+ Countries across the globe and is known as one of the Big Players in the Automation Manufacturing Field.
Contract Type: 12 Months
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support the design, configuration, implementation, and validation of MES solutions for life sciences clients.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and quality assurance to integrate MES with ERP, SCADA, and other manufacturing systems.
* Provide technical leadership in system architecture, data modeling, and workflow design within MES environments.
* Ensure compliance with GMP, GAMP5, and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
* Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance.
* Develop and maintain documentation including user requirements, functional specifications, and validation protocols.
* Train end-users and provide ongoing technical support post-implementation.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Proven experience in MES implementation within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries.
* Hands-on expertise with leading MES platforms (e.g., Werum PAS-X, Rockwell PharmaSuite, Emerson Syncade, or Siemens Opcenter).
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, batch records, and electronic logbooks.
* Understanding of regulatory requirements for life sciences manufacturing.
* Experience in system integration with ERP (SAP, Oracle), SCADA, and LIMS.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
