Internal Sales Specialist - Chemicals
Avantor is currently looking for a motivated Internal Technical Sales Specialist – Chemicals (f/m/d) to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. In this role, you will be the driving force behind delivering excellent customer service and internal account management to our key customers!

Working hours: Monday-Friday, hybrid working model (1-2 days in the office per week)
The team
Together with your seven colleagues, you are part of the Internal Technical Sales Team, helping our customers receive best-in-class service in identifying and providing products for their scientific needs.
What we’re looking for
Education : Completed University Degree with a focus on Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology or similar
Experience: Experience in a Customer Relationship role (e.g. Sales, Customer Service)
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Demonstrable experience building strong relationships with key customer contacts & key internal stakeholders
2. Ability to work to tight deadlines in line with KPIs
3. IT literate, for example with MS Office applications
4. Previous SAP knowledge would be an asset
5. Prior experience within the Life Sciences industry is an advantage (but not essential)
6. Excellent time management & telephone etiquette capabilities
7. Highly professional written and verbal communication skills
8. Proactive – can work with minimal supervision
9. Comfortable with a fast-paced and dynamic working environment
10. A proven team player
How you will thrive and create an impact
11. Provide technical product support to customers and colleagues within the Chemicals product range
12. Proactively sell the product ranges including cross-selling other products and services
13. Create, negotiate, and follow up with quotations
14. Source new products and manage the market source
15. Establish relationships with suppliers to ensure the best technical and price support
16. Participate in supplier training and meetings
17. Support the sales teams with marketing campaigns
18. Monitor competitors and market trends within your product portfolio
19. Regular communication with the local sales organization, highlighting the performance of the product portfolio
20. Participate in customer visits, exhibitions, events, and other marketing activities
21. Develop sales forecasts for your portfolio of products
22. Update all relevant customer interactions on our CRM system SAP C4C
