Description
Established in 2010, St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON) operates across three sites – St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Centre at St. Luke’s Hospital (SLROC SLH), St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Centre at St James’s Hospital (SLROC SJH) and St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Centre at Beaumont Hospital (SLROC BH).
The aim of this post is to provide a coordinated and structured approach to radiation oncology bookings, access to treatment and patient support. This role will support an adequate radiation oncology case volume across three networked radiation treatment units and ensure effective integrated clinical skill mix and support capability and capacity. The initial purpose will be to provide coordinated and integrated administration of the day-to-day operations of the Central Booking Office for the Network. Responsibilities include supporting, monitoring, and cross-covering the duties of clerical admin staff within the radiation oncology unit. This position will be part of an administrative and clinical team within the radiation oncology network with specific tasks assigned to the role.
