About the Job
We are seeking a Private Clients Senior Manager to join our team in Belfast. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising and supporting clients on tax planning strategies, including asset holding structures, personal taxation, shareholder issues, succession and estate planning, buy/sell side advisory and family offices.
The ideal candidate will have strong tax technical knowledge, previous experience of advising clients on complex tax matters, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and comprehensive way. They will also be comfortable working both independently and as part of a multi-functional team.
Responsibilities
* Advise and support clients on tax planning strategies
* Assist the senior management group in preparing detailed technical tax advice
* Manage an income tax compliance portfolio and liaise with clients on matters of compliance
* Interact with other Deloitte offices around the world as part of globally coordinated client programs
* Delegate to, manage and review team members' work
Requirements
* Candidate must be CTA and/or STEP qualified or equivalent with minimum 4 years PQE
* Strong tax technical knowledge and previous experience of advising clients on complex tax matters
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills
* Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and comprehensive way
