Head of HR Business Partnering
Brightwater Executive is delighted to partner with our client, a significant Irish enterprise in the climate solutions sector, in their search for a Head of HR Business Partnering.
About the Position
The Head of HR Business Partnering is a leadership role supporting the senior leaders and C-level leaders directly as a strategic partner, trusted advisor, and change agent. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of HR.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide proactive and creative HR Business Partnering and initiatives to ensure that company objectives are developed, supported, and achieved. Work closely with HR Centres of Expertise (CoE) to resolve complex and challenging problems through innovative and agile thinking.
2. Coach and mentor the HR Business Partner team to ensure people initiatives are implemented to enable the successful delivery of the company strategy. Ensure efficient running of the HRBP team, processes, and practices to proactively support the business leadership team in achieving its objectives, aligning to its values, and creating a great place to work. Understand the company strategy and align the HR Business Partner team and actions accordingly.
3. Champion the organisational values and culture. Coach and develop business leaders. Identify business needs and lead organisational change initiatives.
4. Focus on the future of work. Shape and drive HR strategy with a business perspective. Deliver business and HR strategy through development of talent, workforce, and workplace solutions. Manage the industrial relations strategy.
5. As a member of the HR Leadership team, proactively participate in the development and implementation of the HR strategic plan. Provide feedback to HR Operations and COEs on policies, processes, and programs.
6. Create and drive the people strategy, along with metrics, for your area of responsibility including performance management, talent identification and succession, org design, employee engagement & communications, learning & development gaps, and workforce planning.
7. All employees are expected to co-operate fully with all provisions taken by the company for ensuring health and safety, and welfare of co-employees and members of the public using the premises.
8. As a key member of the Senior Management team, proactively use the Performance Management process as a means to support resource planning within your team and the wider organisation.
The Person:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, skills, knowledge, and attributes:
1. Hons Degree in a Business or HR related discipline is essential.
2. Proven ability in HR Business Partnering at team leader level, including hands-on experience of project and programme management.
3. Demonstrates strong business and financial acumen and ability to translate into people strategy.
4. Ability to build & foster relationships with business leaders. Influences decisions to produce positive business outcomes.
5. Strong influencing skills and ability to work across multiple levels of the organisation. Demonstrates consulting agility.
6. Demonstrates ability to be a change leader. Ability to adapt to emerging trends. Strong experience in leadership coaching & ability to push strategy forward.
