Position: Program Manager, (Mayo)
The role: The Program Manager will offer technical guidance and lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for the implementation of electronic batch records (eBR) and review by exception (RBE) at the facility over a two-year period. This role involves overseeing Change Management, including requirements gathering, process design, system validation, and creating consensus toward an integrated system that aligns with the company's Quality System.
The Program Manager will create and manage a comprehensive project plan and apply industry best practices in project management to ensure timely and accurate delivery of the program phases. Additionally, the Program Manager will stay informed about other Digital Transformation initiatives within the organization and identify opportunities for resources and funding that could support the eBR deployment or future Digital projects. This position is primarily self-managed, with oversight from the Director of Digital Transformation.
Your Responsibilities: Assess project timelines, activities, and resource needs for the successful deployment of systems.Develop and maintain detailed tracking tools for the program and ensure that cross-functional teams meet milestone goals over the program duration.Ensure the program complies with relevant Quality and IT procedures, defining and documenting the validation process with input from global system owners.Monitor the financial expenditures of the program.Develop processes to measure and track cost savings from the project, as well as models for full life-cycle cost/benefit analysis.Provide regular updates to the Director of Digital Transformation, Site Leadership Team, and ME&C management on project progress and execution.Manage various cross-functional resources, including external contractors, without having direct reports.Offer project management training and support to colleagues.Contribute significantly to the site's Digital Transformation strategy.Ensure adherence to and support for all EHS & E standards, policies, and procedures.Your Skills and Experience: 6+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain management, engineering, and/or process/product development.Proven experience in planning and executing large-scale projects.Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams.Strong ability to influence peers and senior management across different departments.Your Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field (Technical qualifications in Engineering, Science, or Technology are advantageous).Project Management certification is a plus but not a requirement.Important: This role is a fully onsite or hybrid position at a Westport site.
