Job Description
A Senior Procurement Specialist is required to join a leading FMCG company in Dublin, with hybrid working options. This permanent role involves implementing procurement strategy, building relationships with key suppliers, and offering opportunities for career progression.
Responsibilities:
* Manage strategic sourcing, including RFP process, benchmarking, negotiations, contract review, and sales analysis.
* Build collaborative relationships with the supply base, internal departments, and new suppliers.
* Develop and maintain category knowledge, applying best practices in sourcing approach, supplier selection, total cost of ownership, and negotiation tactics.
* Support the procurement team with financial forecasting, budget management, category strategy creation, and buy plans.
* Plan and develop range plans for core and seasonal buys.
* Conduct strategic planning at product and category levels.
* Deliver key reporting metrics for the business.
Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience in buying or category management, with strong negotiation skills.
* Proficient in Excel and SAP.
* Experience in FMCG or retail environments is beneficial.
