Marketing Partner
Our client, a Mayo-based technology company with global operations, is seeking an experienced Marketing Partner to join their Commercial team. This position will be 4 days a week onsite and 1 day from home.
The Marketing Partner will play a key role in shaping the Irish marketing strategy, collaborating closely with Irish sales leaders and teams. Key responsibilities include managing project implementation for key Irish marketing projects, serving as the primary liaison with internal and external stakeholders, and building strong relationships with Irish vendors and customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing vendor income revenues, identifying marketing opportunities, and aligning them to vendor/customer growth objectives. Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
* Collaborate with Lead Commercial Marketing Manager to contribute to Irish market strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business growth goals.
* Manage Irish marketing budgets, forecasting, and targeting vendor income while identifying additional revenue opportunities.
* Develop and align quarterly marketing plans with key strategic partners.
* Support Quarterly Business Reviews by asking key questions, implementing feedback, and building aligned strategies.
* Own marketing finances and vendors responsible within the marketing P&L, working within allocated budgets to provide optimal value and ROI from activities carried out for CMS and our technology partners.
* Drive customer segmentation capture for Ireland.
Stakeholder Engagement:
* This role reports to the Head of Brand & Communications, with a dotted line to the Lead Commercial Marketing Manager. Collaboration, open communication, and two-way feedback with both roles is critical for alignment and ultimate success.
* Maintain strong relationships with Irish sales leadership, vendor managers, and account managers.
* Travel when necessary to the CMS Dublin office to meet with key vendors/customers as well as internal sales teams.
* Serve as the key marketing representative for our Irish offices, leading presentations and company communications on behalf of marketing such as the Company Update.
* Understand vendor and customer needs and strategies to develop and propose creative campaign and activities that support their goals.
* Collaborate with creative roles within the team to deliver campaigns.
Project Management & Campaigns:
* Establish strong relationships with partners, encouraging open, two-way communication channels.
* Utilize digital marketing expertise to design and deliver innovative and impactful campaigns.
* Able to plan and execute campaigns aligned to vendor objectives.
* Create relevant collateral and content for internal and external use, e.g., case studies, battle cards, whitepapers.
ROI Measures & Reporting:
* Demonstrate a proven ability to manage and improve ROI on lead generation campaigns.
* Establish key metrics for all proposed marketing campaigns and activities aligned to customer/vendor/business objectives, in addition to internal measures.
* Implement data-driven approaches, incorporating feedback and learnings for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
* 3 years of experience in vendor/distributor/reseller marketing.
* Experience in the Irish market.
* Experience in account-based marketing and customer profiling.
* Some coaching, mentoring, or leadership experience to support team members.
* Relevant bachelor's degree.
* Experience in launching Vendors/brands/products into new territories.
Desirable:
* Web optimisation experience (PPC/SEO).
* Addition language skills not required but highly desirable (French, German, Swedish).
