Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a truck equipped with a Moffett forklift, as well as performing various labouring duties on-site. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient loading and unloading of scaffolding materials, as well as contributing to site operations. Key Responsibilities:
* Driving Responsibilities: Safely operate a truck with Moffett forklift to transport scaffolding materials to various job sites.
* Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload scaffolding equipment at sites, ensuring all materials are handled safely and securely.
* Labouring Duties: Assist with general labouring tasks on-site, including the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
* Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing driving and labouring tasks.
* Maintenance: Conduct routine checks on the truck and Moffett forklift to ensure they are in good working condition.
Qualifications:
* Valid HGV license and Moffett forklift certification.
* Previous experience in truck driving and labouring roles, preferably within the construction or scaffolding industry.
* Strong understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
* Good physical fitness and stamina to handle manual labour tasks.
* Excellent communication skills.
