We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assistant to join our client's Quality Team in Limerick. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining and improving our Quality Management System. This position will be responsible for documentation control, procedural updates, product compliance, and managing training records.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Standards Development: Assist in developing and implementing quality standards and quality control systems.
2. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze quality performance metrics to ensure ongoing compliance and improvements.
3. Inspection and Testing: Conduct inspections and tests on materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
4. Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with managers to develop and implement quality controls and process improvements.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure workflows, processes, and products comply with safety and quality regulations.
6. Issue Resolution: Investigate and troubleshoot any product or delivery issues, developing corrective actions and solutions as needed.
7. Document Control: Manage supply chain documents, oversee training records, and maintain all procedures while controlling revisions.
8. Certification and Audits: Manage product certifications and conduct internal audits to ensure quality compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in a Quality-related field (essential).
2. Experience with ISO standards and Quality Management Systems is essential.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
4. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
