Edwards Vacuum is hiring Workshop Technicians to support the assembly, disassembly, and testing of vacuum pumps according to a weekly plan. They will assist team members with Corrective Action Reports as required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to Health and Safety procedures.
* Meet daily production targets for quality, volume, and efficiency.
* Collaborate with zone members and the Zone Leader to establish priorities and meet customer deadlines.
* Inspect parts, assemblies, and systems against Work Instructions, drawings, schematics, or technical data.
* Verify calibrated tooling before use.
* Perform leak tests and troubleshoot failures.
* Follow company policies, assigned tasks, and maintain a clean working area.
* Meet established quality and time standards, provide feedback for improvement, and complete paperwork accurately.
* Follow orders from the Line Manager.
Requirements:
* 2nd/3rd level education in a mechanical or technical field.
* Minimum 1 year's experience in manufacturing or a technical role.
* Ability to work with hand and power tools.
* Capacity to read drawings, schematics, and published specifications.
* Flexibility to work shifts, detail-oriented, and faithful individual.
