Mechanical HVAC Supervisor

Role Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical HVAC Supervisor to oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems on large-scale projects in the pharma, MedTech, and data centre sectors. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver complex mechanical solutions to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems, ensuring project specifications and deadlines are met.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure HVAC systems are seamlessly integrated with overall project components.
* Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring compliance with quality standards, budgets, and project milestones.
* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and verify that HVAC works adhere to design specifications and safety regulations.
* Provide technical input, solve on-site challenges, and ensure efficient resolution of issues during the project lifecycle.
* Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
* Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
* Maintain a focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance throughout all project stages.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on HVAC systems.
* Proven track record in delivering large-scale projects in pharma, MedTech, or data centre environments.
* Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems, including design, installation, and commissioning.
* Experience in managing subcontractors and driving projects to successful completion.
* Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software is advantageous.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
* Results-driven, with a proven ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
