For our client, a hotel in Co. Galway, Ireland, we are looking for an experienced Accommodation Manager.
Candidate information/requirements:
* The ideal candidate will have at least three years of work experience as an Accommodation Manager in a similar property managing a team of over 15 employees.
* The ability to motivate people, delegate tasks, and work as part of a team.
* High level of attention to detail and standards of cleanliness.
* Working knowledge of Hot Soft or similar room systems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* An advanced level of English is required.
About the job:
* Permanent, full-time position.
* If moving to Ireland from abroad, you will be provided with permanent accommodation for 450 € per month for a single private room in shared accommodation close to the hotel. Utilities are included in the cost (only electricity is paid).
* Salary after tax in Ireland for this Accommodation Manager role will be 2,800 € net per month (40,000 € gross; before tax, per year) on 40 hours per week (overtime is possible).
* Your duties will be: managing all functions of the housekeeping department, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness in all hotel areas, controlling a budget and finances, managing stock levels, and ordering supplies, effectively recruiting and managing employees, and overall equipment and maintenance controlling.
