What you will do:
1. As a Principal Engineer on the Industrialization team in AMagine, you will work with a team of technical process owners on various technical solutions for our current and next generation innovative products.
2. You will interface with cross-functional team members both on a local and global scale.
3. As a technical leader within the Industrialization team, you will help drive technical governance, promote a lean engineering approach, and ensure robust and scalable industrialization practices from early concept through to full production.
4. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing technologies and business systems, cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for continuous improvement.
5. Work closely with manufacturing process owners from DFAM (Design for Additive Manufacturing), Additive manufacturing, CNC, Finishing, Inspection, Clean, packaging, labeling, and sterilization to deliver innovative solutions.
6. Provide a platform of knowledge on Additively Manufactured Materials, such as Metals and Polymers, by providing relevant training and technical direction.
7. Provide business system user requirements to Digital & IT to enable a lean, scalable solution throughout the manufacturing process.
8. Work cooperatively with senior technical leaders, engineering, quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, and marketing to ensure program success.
9. Can work independently to plan and schedule own activities as necessary to meet program deliverables.
10. Continuous Improvement: establish and run the CI program cycle.
11. Business Performance: product traceability, metric definition, implementation, and reporting/governance cycle, leveraging Power BI and OSI Pi.
12. Program management: interface for Value stream engineering the necessary program review levels.
13. Portfolio Management: anticipate the impact and integration of new products into the Production System.
14. Drive the deployment and performance of overarching process model and framework for the business and integrate a system thinking mindset into our way of doing business - standard work.
15. Align required product and value stream development roadmaps.
16. Surface bottom-up alignment of technology and digital platform development roadmaps.
17. Participate and lead in point Kaizen as required in support of global business development.
What you will need:
1. Bachelor's Engineering or equivalent (Level 8 Degree)
2. 8+ years of experience is required.
3. Proven track record of working in a team-based environment.
