Job Description
Overview
The Chief II Cardiac Physiologist will lead a dedicated team of Cardiac Physiologists to create and implement a vision for the future management of services provided by the Department, encompassing Connolly Hospital (CHB) and the Enhanced Community Care (ECC) Hub.
The goal is to establish an integrated model of care regionally, providing high-quality and efficient Cardiac Investigations services to Consultants, Doctors, and patients within the hospital and community.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in leadership-level discussions to deliver exceptional Cardiac Physiology services.
* Develop and implement strategies for the future direction of the Cardiac Physiology team.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
* Possess a BSc in Clinical Measurement from Dublin Institute of Technology or Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin).
* Hold an equivalent relevant scientific qualification (Level 8) as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science (IICMS).
* Have completed a Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from Dublin Institute of Technology or hold an equivalent scientific qualification as confirmed by IICMS, awarded in or before 2005.
* Accumulate a minimum of 5 years full-time relevant post-qualification experience.
Post-Specific Requirements
* Demonstrate expertise in cardiac diagnostics relevant to the role.
* Exhibit supervisory and managerial experience applicable to the position.
