Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Manager
The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will oversee the activities of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization's products and/or development processes.
Responsibilities:
* Liaise with Job Owners/Directors and clients regarding Projects/Jobs.
* Ensure receipt and setup of all relevant information for Documentation Packs.
* Verify that all documents are scanned and aligned correctly.
* Prepare Documentation Packs in soft or hard copy for clients.
* Liaise with suppliers regarding supporting documents (e.g., certificates, testing results).
* Liaise with clients regarding Documentation Pack requirements.
* Upload documents to project portals (e.g., Fusion Live).
* Schedule external calibration and maintenance of equipment.
* Run and present reports for quality where applicable to support daily operations and performance objectives.
* Comply with third-party regulatory body visits and standards.
* Liaise daily with Job Owners/Fabricators on schedule, parts requirements, and any issues that may arise.
* Monitor and record ongoing jobs for Documentation Packs.
* Liaise with Documentation Control.
* Maintain records for retention periods.
* Maintain and record all plant and equipment.
* Ensure all staff health & safety records are maintained and updated.
* Ensure all client health & safety portals are maintained and updated (e.g., EHA).
* Implement and comply with ISO9001:2015 & EN 1090 across all departments.
* Organize staff training according to competency requirements.
* Assist in induction and staff human resource matters.
* Analyze key performance indicators.
* Develop and identify staff training needs through an annual training plan.
* Review and analyze internal & external issues via PESTEL/SWOT.
* Review and analyze risks & opportunities.
* Report corrective actions.
* Main point of contact for current clients.
* Arrange NDT requirements for projects based on product specifications.
* Review and update current procedures.
* Implement change controls as necessary.
* Complete Pre-FAT, FAT, and SATs as required.
