General Manager - 4* Hotel in Cork
We are recruiting a General Manager for a leading 4* Hotel in Cork. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a 4/5* hotel GM role.
This hotel features beautifully appointed guestrooms, excellent food and beverage options, event facilities, meeting rooms, and outstanding leisure facilities. It is an iconic property located in a prominent area.
As General Manager, you will be expected to deliver the highest standards of service and guest relations from your team, ideally in a branded, group-owned hotel.
Responsibilities:
1. Proven relevant financial and hotel sales & marketing management experience.
2. Effectively and efficiently manage your team and the business.
Minimum Requirements:
1. At least 3 years of previous experience as a Hotel Manager / General Manager in a prominent 4* star property, ideally in the Irish market.
2. 3rd Level Qualification in Hospitality Management.
3. Proven experience and knowledge of all hotel operations, including rooms, finance, sales, people & culture, and strategy.
4. Extensive experience in efficiently managing a city-based property.
5. Experience in the leisure & corporate sectors is essential.
6. Strong knowledge of hotel finance background, rooms budgeting, and yield management.
Current legal status to live and work in Ireland is required.
