About the Role
The Centre is a mainstream residential center for young people aged 13 to 17 on admission. Our primary objective is to provide a supportive environment that fosters growth, development, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
* Leadership and Team Management: As Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Centre Manager in operational and strategic decision-making.
* Policy Implementation and Governance: You will work closely with the management team to develop, implement, and monitor policies that ensure compliance and excellence in service delivery.
* Care and Wellbeing of Young People: Your primary focus will be on ensuring the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our residents, working collaboratively with the care team to provide individualized support.
* Safeguarding and Child Protection: You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection practices are maintained, adhering to regulatory requirements and guidelines.
* Professional Development: We offer comprehensive training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and career progression within the organization.
* Operational Oversight: You will contribute to the effective management of daily operations, including staff supervision, resource allocation, and monitoring performance metrics.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Social Care/Nursing/ID Qualifications: QQI Level 7
* 3 years' experience working with children
