Job Title: Chef Manager
Location: Translink Cafe Metro, Belfast
Working Pattern: 40 Hours per week, 5 days out of 7, Shifts between 7am - 8pm, Option to be Flexible
We are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to join our team based at Translink Cafe Metro, Belfast. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.
The successful candidate will prepare and cook all food to an exceptional standard, ensuring all HACCP regulations are adhered to. They will drive sales through centrally driven menu plans and promotions, and ensure compliance through preferred suppliers.
Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook all food to an exceptional standard, ensuring all HACCP regulations are adhered to.
* Drive sales through centrally driven menu plans and promotions, and ensure compliance through preferred suppliers.
* Ensure the service counter is prepped and ready for service.
* Provide the highest level of customer service in a consistent approach to anyone who uses the facility.
* Work as part of the team to ensure the service is delivered on time and to the highest possible standard.
* Complete any administration as requested, including recording of food temperatures, updating cleaning schedules, cashing up tills, and recording daily sales figures on the system.
* Complete bookwork procedures in line with company requirements, including the administration of purchasing, cash handling, banking, and management of the weekly estimated trading account (ETA).
* Report defective equipment, utensils, work surfaces, etc. to the relevant Head Office department.
* Ensure the opening and closing of all food outlets are carried out in accordance with Company procedures.

* Basic statutory training for the role requires basic reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
* Proficient skills in computer literacy.
