Desktop Support Engineer Contract | €200-€240/day | Dublin A client of mine is looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to provide Level 2 support and assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a Windows-based environment.
This role will involve a mix of on-site and remote support, ensuring smooth IT operations for end users.
Responsibilities:
Provide Level 2 desktop support, including troubleshooting Windows OS, Office 365, and application issues.
Diagnose and resolve hardware problems with desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
Support software installations, updates, and system configurations.
Assist with network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi and VPN issues.
Document technical resolutions and escalate complex issues when required.
Requirements: 3+ years of experience in a similar role, providing desktop support in a corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and Office 365.
Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or
Microsoft Certified:
Modern Desktop Administrator are desirable.
