Job Summary:
As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the organization's computer systems and network infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and security, to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, software, and operating systems. Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
2. System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system performance, availability, and security. Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including software updates and patches.
3. User Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to end-users on hardware, software, and system-related issues.
4. System Security and Access Control: Implement and enforce security measures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access.
5. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain system documentation, including configuration guides and procedures.
6. System Upgrades and Migrations: Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations.
7. Collaboration and Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors to procure necessary hardware and software licenses.
8. System Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance metrics and identify areas for optimization.
9. Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure systems adhere to relevant regulations and internal policies.
10. System Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with IT leadership to define system goals and strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of systems administration.
* Proficiency in server administration (Windows, Linux) and virtualization technologies.
* Familiarity with networking concepts and security principles.
* Experience with cloud platforms.
* Strong understanding of system security best practices.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
* Strong documentation and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Continuous learning mindset.
* Experience with scripting and automation tools is a plus.

Compensation
Annual base salary gross: 65,000-80,000.00 plus variable USD Annual. Actual salaries will vary based on various factors.
