Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to promote comprehensive security solutions. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, tenacious, and determined, with the ability to build relationships and win new accounts.
The role involves identifying new business opportunities, differentiating our client's offerings from competition, and communicating the value of services to potential customers.
Responsibilities Include:
* Serve as an ambassador for our client, achieving agreed sales targets
* Develop a strong pipeline by qualifying target accounts and aligning global and local competencies with individual account requirements
* Successfully sell against competition by keeping abreast of the security market
* Lead and manage the full sales cycle across a portfolio of qualified prospects
* Build long-term relationships with major accounts and deliver best practice solutions
* Develop customised value propositions for diverse stakeholders in SMEs, large organisations, and blue-chip companies
* Collaborate with other business functions, including pricing, finance, and operations, for consistent delivery of tender responses and effective solution implementation.
Essential Skills:
* Experience of selling into a service-driven market preferably the security industry.
* Customer focused mindset, with a commitment to developing a detailed knowledge of client requirements
* Strong Commercial acumen; comfortable with numbers, cost models, and key financial metrics
* Effective negotiations skills; proven ability to communicate at all levels and to influence and persuade both internal and external stakeholders
* Professionalism - work with integrity and to the highest standards at all times
* Experience of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Desirable Skills:
* Previous experience in the security industry - selling integrated security solutions to include; selling manned and enhanced guarding, events, transport, and patrol and response and monitoring solutions.
* Good presentation skills; comfortable delivering presentations and sales collateral
* Effective negotiations skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
* Knowledge and experience of Salesforce
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 10+ Years industry experience
* Experience engaging C-Level executives
* Financial modeling, business modeling, and analytics of large companies
* Experience working across internal and external organisation
* Experience implementing product and organisational change at prior organisations in a consulting role
* Experience with digital transformation initiatives
