Title of Job: Safety/Driver Supervisor
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Administer safety and training of personnel (drivers, maintenance, and office staff)
* Implement safety programs to ensure that safety issues are at the forefront of all personnel
* Review driver videos - I drive, 360 cameras, etc.
* Assist in driver training and re-training
* Conduct driver training classes
* Conduct on-site driver inspections
* Follow up with safety-related complaints
* Assist in driver dispatching when needed
* Problem-solving issues that arise with operations
* Handling customer complaints
* Ride with new drivers to finalize training
* Follow up with drivers on customer complaints and retraining on locations
* Monitoring of drivers and conduct ride-along with drivers
* Develop and administer quality control programs and standards
* Weekly updates to drivers regarding safety and continuation training
* Administer drug/alcohol programs and testing
* Constantly working to improve the Barons Bus Safety Program
* Schedule/conduct driver training
* Conduct potential driver interviews and follow up
* Responsible for sending Barons Bus weekly safety update
* Conduct field service monitoring program
* Driving whenever needed for service
* To be available 24/7 via cell phone
* Must be flexible, dependable, and detail-oriented with office-based tasks
* Detail-oriented with computer skills
* This is a safety-sensitive position, so you will be bound to the drug and alcohol regulations
Credentials and Experience:
* Minimum 5 years of transportation-related experience including driving
Reports to:
* President, Vice President, and Safety Director
Physical Characteristics:
* Ability to assist in all capacities of business
* Ability to move heavy luggage over 50 pounds
Required Skills:
* Must have active CDL with passenger endorsement
* Must have valid medical card - or be able to obtain one
* Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing/background checks
* History and understanding of transportation expertise
* History in personnel management
* Experience in safety of passenger transportation
* Experience with DOT and FTA regulations
