Warehouse Teamleader
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Teamleader to coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Warehouse and Pack Out areas, ensuring a safe work environment at all times. This role requires the application of lean tools to drive continuous improvement and process reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Materials team to meet production targets for customer delivery.
* Apply lean tools to drive continuous improvement and process reliability.
* Attend daily huddles to review key metrics and ensure operation is on target.
* Create a high-performing flexible team that achieves excellent results through coaching, mentoring, and effective performance management.
* Ensure regular team communications and engagement of all material handling personnel.
* Review KPIs through visual management tools and coordinate all training to perform assigned tasks across all areas.
* Responsible for performance management and training of direct reports.
* Ensure performance reviews are completed on time and offer opportunities for PDPs to team members.
* Ensure all team members are fully trained in their roles and support development of standard work, documentation, training, and procedural activities.
* Communicate warehouse and materials information effectively to relevant departments.
* Coordinate with Workcell Leaders and Shift Team Leaders to ensure shipments are ready and available to ship.
* Work with Supply Chain Department to plan resources, material, shipping, deliveries, etc. to support weekly operations schedule.
* Lead area 6S program to ensure housekeeping, GMP, and Safety issues are resolved in a timely and systematic manner.
* Ensure equipment, area cleaning, inventory control, and barcoding systems adhere to cGMP requirements.
* Manage offsite storage vendors ensuring compliance with standards and site's regulatory requirements.
* Manage consumable KANBAN levels within on-site warehouse.
* Manage environmental/pest control in warehouse and packout areas.
* Support company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
* Ensure ongoing compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
Experience and Education Requirements:
* Level 7 management/relevant supervisory management qualification desirable.
* Experience in operations essential.
* Previous people management experience.
* Ability to motivate self and others.
* Excellent initiative and decision-making capability.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
