Reporting to the Senior Executive Valuer or such designated Officer as may be determined from time to time, the Assistant Valuer will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the City Valuer’s Office and the wider Planning & Property Development Department. They will provide a large number of reports, deliver a varied programme of valuation and project work and will provide professional advice to the City Council on all valuation and associated matters including disposals and acquisitions, as required.
The portfolio of properties includes commercial, residential, community, sporting, municipal and cultural and valuations and advice will be required on both a statutory and non-statutory basis.
This role may be suited to candidates who are currently working in the residential and commercial property agency sectors.
The City Valuer’s Office supports all Valuer staff to secure their Chartered Surveyor qualification with the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI)/Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and their continuing professional development.
