Your New Role
As a Chartered Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, management, and delivery of diverse civil engineering projects. You will be responsible for:
1. Leading project teams and ensuring the successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule.
2. Developing detailed designs and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.
3. Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
4. Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
5. Preparing and reviewing project documentation, including reports, specifications, and drawings.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Chartered status with a recognized professional body (e.g., Engineers Ireland).
2. A Masters degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
3. Proven experience in civil engineering design and project management.
4. At least 5+ years of experience working in Ireland.
5. Strong technical skills and proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. A proactive and problem-solving mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
