Project Manager
Responsibilities:
* Project Stage: Effectively project-manage and streamline the flow of work for assigned projects.
* Attend hand-over meetings to identify and understand contract conditions.
* Conduct design reviews to ensure sales designs comply with project requirements.
* Establish an accurate personnel administration and record system.
* Monitor progress, prepare reports, and attend meetings as required.
* Identify, quantify, and agree on potential variations with clients.
* Carry out post-project meetings to improve performance.
Finance:
* Review cost sheets and necessary resources for project completion.
* Agree on cost sheets and progress valuations with clients.
* Liaise with the Finance Manager to ensure timely payment from clients.
* Procure cost-effective equipment in compliance with project terms and conditions.
* Monitor scope, time, and budget variations and generate a Variations Engineering Cost Sheet.
* Peparate cost spreadsheets to determine project value and margin.
Customer Liaison:
* Represent the company on all project matters.
* Control related correspondence and documentation.
* Carry out client communications politely, professionally, and courteously.
* Plan site operations and issue follow-up minutes.
* Ensure standard and special systems Operating Handbooks are issued to clients.
Requirements:
* 5 years of experience in project management.
* B.Eng. in Engineering discipline or Chemical Engineering.
* Ability to solve problems and meet project deadlines.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Awareness of health and safety risks on client properties.
