About The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Sustainability Analyst to join our market leading Sustainability team at CBRE Ireland. Whether it be developing and implementing ESG Strategies, creating sustainability frameworks for asset application, delivering certification for health and wellbeing we give clients clear, timely advice and make sure any wider sustainability objectives are addressed.
The successful candidate will work across a diverse project portfolio. Reporting into the Sustainability Director, your role will be focused on the delivery of Net-Zero carbon services across the commercial real estate sector, as well as supporting the team on the delivery of sustainability certifications (LEED, BREEAM and WELL). You will also be involved in supporting a wider service offering to advise across net zero carbon and sustainability strategy workstreams.
We seek an enthusiastic professional with an eye for detail and who is eager to advance their career with a company leading the way in real estate. The successful candidate will research and provide guidance on energy consumption in buildings through both energy modelling and desktop research, certifications and frameworks, as well as implement control systems to monitor the operational efficiency and performance.
What You’ll Do
* Based in the Dublin office, working directly with the Irish, UK and EMEA ESG teams
* Reports into the Sustainability Director
* Delivery of Net-Zero Carbon / CRREM / BER pathways
* Support on sustainability certifications such as LEED, BREEAM-In-Use, WELL
* Support the delivery of Whole Life Carbon reporting and coordination advice
* Produce reports providing advice to clients and project teams
* Read and interpret architectural drawings, M&E schedules, and HVAC layouts
* Occasionally attend site visits to collect relevant project information
* Attend and contribute to team meetings and internal CPD sessions
What You’ll Need
* Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. building services engineering, mechanical engineering or energy engineering)
* Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience
* Proficient in building physics, building services, and low-carbon design
* Experience with AutoCAD and building energy simulation software (e.g. IES-VE)
* Holistic understanding of sustainability across the built environment
* Skilled in the delivery of sustainability reports to clients through clear and confident communication and presentation skills
* Adaptable and keen to learn new skills
