Social Media Manager – Health & Wellness

On behalf of a highly successful fitness brand (Fitness Tech & Fashion Apparel), I’m looking for a creative and experienced Social Media Manager to join this rapidly growing team and help amplify their mission to be the number one fitness app globally.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with brand values, engages the target audience, and drives growth across all platforms. You’ll be the voice of the brand on social media, fostering an empowering community and creating engaging content that resonates with women who are passionate about fitness, wellness, and self-care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and manage the social media strategy across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
2. Create engaging, on-brand content that aligns with the core values of female empowerment, fashion, fitness, and wellness.
3. Plan and execute social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and grow engagement and followers.
4. Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure a cohesive brand message and integrated content across channels.
5. Engage with the community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and empowering manner.
6. Analyse social media performance metrics and use insights to improve strategy, optimizing content to meet KPIs and goals.
7. Manage influencer and ambassador collaborations, ensuring alignment with the brand ethos and community values.
8. Stay informed on industry trends, especially within the fashion, fitness, and wellness spaces, and provide recommendations for new initiatives.
To be successful in this role, candidates require the following:
1. Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably with brands in the fitness, wellness, or lifestyle industry.
2. Strong understanding of key social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube, and their best practices.
3. Ability to create and curate engaging content, including visuals, captions, and short-form videos, that inspires and empowers our audience.
4. Excellent writing and communication skills, with a strong understanding of the brands and community.
5. A naturally creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
6. Solid experience with social media analytics and performance tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Instagram Insights, etc.).
7. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Preferably, candidates should have experience working with influencers, brand ambassadors, or partnerships.
9. Experience using content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing software.
