Job Summary
A Project Engineer is required to join our client's manufacturing facility in Drogheda. The successful candidate will report directly to the Projects Manager and be responsible for delivering a portfolio of capital projects to support the plant operating strategy.
About the Role
* Work with the Projects Manager to deliver multiple capital projects
* Manage project execution from start to finish
* E nsure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and legislation
* Lead multidisciplinary project design teams
* Liaise with suppliers, designers, and consultants
* Prepare tender documents for equipment supply and installation
* Supervise contractors on-site
* Manage project budgets and schedules
* Complete project handover to operating plant
* Conduct design and feasibility studies
Requirements
* 7+ years' experience in project execution
* Degree/qualification in Engineering or related field
* Experience managing project safety aspects advantageous
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
* Heavy industry experience an advantage
