Job Title: Project Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to implement a cutting-edge manufacturing process. This role will involve providing technical and engineering maintenance support for equipment/fixture solutions that drive optimal manufacturing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Introduce and validate new equipment, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
* Collaborate with Value Streams to identify opportunities for equipment improvement, including automation, vision systems, and robotics.
* Work with Product Development to establish equipment requirements for new products, driving innovation and efficiency.
* Engage with external vendors to review equipment proposals, select vendors, and obtain capital approval.
* Lead cross-functional teams to resolve production/engineering issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption.
* New equipment validation: incorporate Maintenance and Calibration requirements into equipment specifications.
* Transfer and validate equipment from other sites, maintaining consistency and quality.
* Debug production issues with automated equipment, utilizing analytical skills to troubleshoot problems.
* Maintain relevant documentation, adhering to Quality and Regulatory guidelines and ensuring full compliance with GMP and E&AS requirements.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
* 2-4 years of experience in a similar role within a GMP regulated environment.
* Prior experience working in Medical Devices is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Proven ability to multitask and handle competing priorities effectively.
* Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
* Cork-based role with 5 days per week onsite requirements.
