Assistant Manager
This is a key leadership role that would suit a customer-focused individual with relevant retail experience and a passion for retail in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Organising workflow, ensuring staff understand their duties and delegate tasks effectively.
* Following all company procedures on planning and organisation, including break schedules, shop floor allocation, task lists, handovers, etc.
* Maintaining store standards and ensuring the store is always health and safety compliant.
* Communication with Head Office, confirming and putting into action all requests from Head Office.
* Effective Time Management, completing all daily tasks and seasonal turnarounds within agreed time frames to promote sales.
Key Skills and Competencies:
* Prioritising tasks and understanding what needs to be done first and why.
* Ability to deal with several tasks simultaneously.
* Leadership skills, including ability to lead a team and encourage a happy work environment.
* Excellent product knowledge, including all seasonal products.
* Good working knowledge of RS Accounts and back-office functions.
