Commissioning Engineer - Birmingham, UK - Contract/Permanent

Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi-Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. Responsibilities:
1. Accurate weekly reporting and record keeping on Progress and Issues to the Client Onshore Commissioning Engineer (Lead).
2. Liaise with Engineering and Quality Departments to ensure Outstanding Engineering/Quality Issues are resolved.
3. Interface with Export Cable and Offshore Substation Commissioning activities.
4. Responsible for ensuring accurate ‘As Built’ Drawings and Commissioning Records are kept by the Subcontractor.
Required Skills/Experience:
1. Relevant technical education, for example Electrical Engineering Degree/HNC desirable or equivalent.
2. Valid National Grid Persons (Substations) certification is desirable but not essential.
3. Valid CSCS/Safety Passport/SHEA Power required to get on site at the Onshore Converter Substation.
