Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager to join our team in the Munster Region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional looking to progress to Director level.
Duties:
* Manage numerous projects within urban and rural environments, with a focus on urban environments.
* Report directly to the Managing Director.
* Analyze projects from a commercial perspective, understanding pricing and work execution.
* Coordinate across multiple projects, collaborating with project managers and teams.
* Detail costs, complete values, and claims narratives.
* BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS, CLIENT REPRESENTATIVES, AND 3RD PARTY PROVIDERS AND STAKEHOLDERS.
* Lead and manage an existing team, utilizing effective communication and leadership skills.
* Liaise and coordinate with various stakeholders, including staff, departments, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and others.
Requirements:
* Fully qualified driver's license essential.
* A minimum Level 8 Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
* 15 years of total experience, with 5 years in Ireland.
* Experience working with stakeholders.
* Public Works contracts experience desirable.
* LARGE CIVILS PROJECT EXPERIENCE, SUCH AS ROADS, PUBLIC REALM, DRAINAGE/UTILITIES, BULK EXCAVATIONS, WATER & WASTEWATER.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Confident, motivated, and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
* Strong time management, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
* Integrity and respect for confidentiality and privacy.
