IT Operations Analyst – Dublin, GA
The IT Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring and managing site-level operational systems supporting the 24/7/365 manufacturing operation, troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing IT processes, and reporting on technology operations to leadership.
Our ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, keen analytical abilities, and excellent organizational skills.
Job Responsibilities
* Monitor and maintain the site’s IT and Networking systems to support the 24/7/365 manufacturing operation.
* Respond to site-level operational IT needs, including evaluating and prioritizing incoming requests for support from colleagues/end users experiencing issues with computer hardware, software, and other technologies.
* Oversee the Incident, Problem, and Change management processes for IT support on a local level and engage as needed to support corporate initiatives locally.
* Identify incident trends; recommend and implement improvements to reduce volume.
* Provide first-line technical support for end-users’ computer hardware and software, and printers and their network connectivity.
* Engage in development of short and long-term planning of system upgrades and migrations.
* Prepare & Implement SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for the daily maintenance of applications and underlying systems.
* Define, design, implement, and maintain support infrastructure for application solutions.
* Work closely with Maintenance and Operations to identify and resolve issues.
* Lead troubleshooting efforts of systems and processes.
* Assist project engineers and managers in the planning, development, and implementation of capital projects as needed.
* Manage and direct consultants, contractors, and vendors during IT and networking projects.
* Provide on-call support for weekend and off-hour availability to support IT mill needs.
* Adhere to all mill safety rules and participate in safety programs and meetings.
* Evaluate, troubleshoot, and maintain system hardware including PCs, laptops, printers, camera systems, etc.
Education
* Required: B.S./B.A. Degree in Information Technology or related field
Experience
* Required: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT-related field
* Preferred: Experience with Ethernet networks including configuration of switches, routers, and VLANs
