Public Affairs and Communications Manager

We are seeking an experienced and driven Public Affairs and Communications Manager to join a forward-thinking team. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of developing and implementing public affairs strategies, engaging with key stakeholders, and aligning communications to support the organisation’s objectives and reputation.
The Role:
* Design and execute a public affairs and stakeholder engagement strategy to support organizational goals.
* Monitor political and policy developments, providing analysis and strategic recommendations.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers and decision-makers.
* Collaborate with internal teams across multiple departments to align messaging and strategy.
* Represent the organisation in policy discussions, drafting consultation responses, and conducting research.
* Support external communications to ensure clear and consistent messaging to stakeholders and the media.
The Person:
* A minimum of 4 years’ experience in public affairs and corporate communications.
* A proven track record in stakeholder engagement and political advocacy.
* Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
* A degree in politics, public policy, or a related field.
* Strategic thinking with project management expertise and commercial awareness.
* Familiarity with the political and media landscape in Ireland.
* A full driving license is essential; proficiency in another language is a bonus but not required.
