This position is responsible for assisting the Ecommerce Manager with the operation and coordination of all Digital Marketing sections, ensuring that the digital presence of the hotel group is in line with Brand as well as sustaining the standards of material produced at all times. The Digital Marketing Executive is also integral in assisting the Digital Marketing Manager with the overall digital marketing strategy for the organization.
Works Successfully With
Internally: All three Trigon Hotels - Metropole, Cork International & Cork Airport Hotel & Shared Services - HR, Finance, Sales & Marketing
Externally: Customers, Suppliers, media outlets.
Responsibilities
Communication
Confer with the Ecommerce Manager on revenue forecasts, budgets, policy, employer brand and future planning.
Liaise with all relevant departments to ensure the key business objectives are reflective of the digital material produced.
Ensure that all activities within the hotel group are translated to our online platforms while cohering with the brand guidelines.
Attend weekly Sales and Revenue meetings as required.
Report weekly, monthly, quarterly on KPIs and other statistics.
Monitor and answer communications on social media channels including supporting Hotels on feedback channels such as Tripadvisor and Google reviews.
Business Development
Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
Research new online media opportunities that may benefit the business including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums.
Identify trends and insights, and assist in optimizing spend and performance.
Assist with conducting market research to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness.
Training & Development
Take responsibility for staying up to date with all necessary training as required.
Train & coach team members on use of social media on behalf of Hotels.
Digital Presence
Assist the Ecommerce Manager in executing the overall digital marketing strategy for Trigon Hotels.
Create graphics and design components for digital content (Social Media Platforms, Websites, Blogs and printed media) in line with brand guidelines and overall strategy for the properties & employer brand.
Conduct keyword research and web statistics reporting. Analyze website traffic while considering the SEO, Google Analytics and CRM.
Create website visuals and banners as required.
Assist in attaining the key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time and improving page rankings.
Sales & Marketing
Assist with building an inbound marketing plan for the Hotel Group.
Liaise with Sales & Marketing Team to deliver significant growth in digital presence on all social media platforms.
Ensure social media complies with employer brand.
Drive organic traffic through social channels.
Other Considerations
Assist the relevant departments in creating content in line with brand guidelines across all social media platforms.
Manage all digital marketing channels.
Update and monitor all social media platforms.
Stay up to date with the latest technology.
Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices.
Create content including but not limited to video & blogs.
Execute annual social media strategy.
