Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver comprehensive HR services to the business by proactively advising on best practices.
* Understand the business operations and commercial objectives.
* Support people management functions that underpin the business culture, including employee relations, recruitment, compensation, benefits, engagement, ESG, professional growth, and communications.
Main Duties:
* Partner with business leaders on initiatives to engage associates and retain key talent; champion the company's values and culture.
* Operate as a trusted partner with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Senior Management Team (SMT), coaching and advising on people issues.
* Provide guidance and coaching to managers/supervisors and support them with all HR-related matters.
* Lead the promotion of DE&I within the organisation's culture.
* Design and implement comprehensive employee engagement programs that align with the company's strategic goals and culture.
* Facilitate focus groups and one-on-one interviews to gather feedback on workplace satisfaction, engagement drivers, and areas for improvement.
* Coaching managers to be effective managers of performance and potential for employees.
* Talent acquisition: support site activity up to successful on-boarding of new starters.
* Talent reviews, benchmarking, development plans, and succession planning.
* Total reward: advise and support employees on company benefits and pay remuneration issues.
* Compensation reviews and projects in line with company processes and guidelines.
* Policies and procedures: secure implementation and maintenance of up-to-date HR policies, ensuring they align with employment legislation.
* Evaluate and ensure managers are up to date with changes to any policies.
* Employee Relations: address disciplinary/grievance and HR issues using HR and company knowledge.
* Craft business and people solutions with other PCI HR Site Leaders.
* Monitor and analyse HR metrics, providing regular reports to senior management on HR operations and trends.
* Manage and assist with the roll out of HR initiatives within the business.
* Establish relationships with stakeholders, internal and external to the organisation.
* Embrace continuous improvement principles and identify opportunities to evolve the service.
* Partner with Regional L&D to develop skills gaps within the organisation and upskill employees.
* Payroll Support: actively support payroll process management.
* Identify areas for development and opportunities for improvement within the HR function and service.
* Support/lead on HR projects to deliver business improvements.
* Attend training workshops and seminars as part of Continual Professional Development.
* Undertake additional tasks and projects as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
* At least 5 years' experience in HR post-qualification.
* Effective communication skills and ability to influence and build trusted partnerships at all levels.
* Change management experience.
* Experience working within a global organisation is beneficial.
* Commercial experience, particularly in pharmaceuticals, is desirable.
* Working knowledge of Irish Employment Law and Practice is essential.
* Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
* Previous experience with Workday is highly desirable.
* Meticulous, well-organised, and able to work independently to meet deadlines.
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Maintains confidentiality.
