About the Role
The post holder will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, evidence-based Social Work service to children and young people aged 0-18 and their families.
This service is provided within the Progressing Disabilities Services for Children and Young People (PDS) framework, which emphasizes interdisciplinary team working and family-centered practice.
Main Responsibilities
* Direct Intervention: The successful candidate will work directly with children and families, providing advisory, practical, and skilled emotional support.
* Caseload Management: The individual must be able to plan, organize, and prioritize their caseload efficiently, ensuring timely completion of tasks and goals.
* Social Work Values and Ethics: The post holder will incorporate Social Work values and ethical principles in all aspects of planning, developing, implementing, and reviewing interventions.
Requirements
* Registration: The candidate must be registered with the Social Work Register maintained by CORU.
* Experience: A minimum of experience working with children and families, disability services, and safeguarding is required.
* Driving License: A full driving license is necessary for this role.
