Marketing and Communications Manager
Our client, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential social services for nearly 60 years, supports individuals experiencing homelessness, domestic abuse, and older adults seeking healthy aging. Their mission is to empower individuals, drive change, and strengthen communities.
We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to lead all marketing and communications activities, aiming to increase awareness, engagement, and fundraising for the organization. This role involves strategic leadership, project management, and brand management to ensure consistent messaging across various channels.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications strategies.
* Lead and manage the marketing and communications team.
* Develop key messages in collaboration with leadership.
* Plan and oversee marketing campaigns, events, and initiatives.
* Create and implement a content strategy to support overall marketing goals.
* Manage media, PR, and public affairs strategies.
* Oversee the organization's digital strategy, including website development.
* Enhance internal communications for staff and volunteers.
* Support fundraising and revenue-generating activities.
* Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
* Produce marketing materials and collateral.
* Monitor, evaluate, and report on marketing performance.
* Stay updated on industry trends, legislation, and best practices.
* Conduct market research among stakeholder groups.
Requirements:
* Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior marketing or communications role.
* Leadership experience, with the ability to manage teams effectively.
* Proven success in executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
* Strong project management, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
* Excellent writing, storytelling, and content creation abilities.
* Ability to collaborate across departments and build strong relationships.
* Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, and IT tools (MS Office, Teams, PowerPoint).
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of video and podcast production (desirable).
* Experience with WordPress, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, and Premiere Pro (desirable).
