Excellent Electrical Maintenance opportunity working on sophisticated electrical infrastructure in a new State of the art Data Centre in Dublin 22. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works to building infrastructure/plant, equipment in accordance with agreed service levels, and respond to site engineering emergencies.
Electrical Responsibilities:
1. UPS systems
2. BMS operation
3. Emergency standby generators
4. Testing of electrical systems
5. Feeders, Transformers, Switchgear
6. Battery banks, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units
7. Complex automatic control equipment, including relay logic and programmable logic controllers (PLC’s)
8. Building management systems and their integration with the data centre infrastructure
9. Medium voltage distribution systems and associated switch gear and protection equipment
10. MV and LV switching procedures and safety protocol
Mechanical Responsibilities:
1. Feeders, Generators, Fuel Systems
2. ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units
3. Chillers, Air handling units, CRAC units
4. Fire Alarm systems, and Fire Suppression systems
Standard Days positions with a salary of circa €54,000 plus benefits.
What You Need:
* A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic Mathematics skills. Level 6 minimum in an electrical discipline.
* City & Guilds 236 parts 1 & 2 (or later) 17th Edition or equivalent qualification.
* Up to date skills on building management systems, ACOP’s, fire and environmental control, building control, and health and safety.
* Experience of mission critical facilities maintaining, but not limited to, UPS systems, BMS operation, emergency standby generators, testing of electrical systems.
* Comprehensive mechanical and electrical engineering experience, undertaking reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
* Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations with regard to maintenance activities.
