To support growth and expansion, we are currently recruiting for a skilled Facility Manager to join our team in Carrigtwohill, Co Cork.
Main Responsibilities:
* Oversee the operation of site facilities, encompassing buildings, plant equipment, hard services, and soft services.
* Maintain routine preventative maintenance schedules.
* Develop and implement operational procedures, preventive maintenance plans, business continuity plans, and emergency plans for buildings and utilities.
* Prepare tender documents and manage the tender process.
* Evaluate costs for required goods and services.
* Project manage, coordinate, and supervise third-party contractors.
* Ensure buildings meet health and safety requirements and comply with relevant legislation.
* Assist local site Facilities Coordinators in directing essential central services, including reception, mail, cleaning, catering, waste disposal, and recycling.
* Operate Building Management Systems (BMS) and related functions.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in facilities management, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
* Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
* Proficiency in FM software and MS Office.
* Effective leadership abilities with experience managing teams and external vendors.
* Experience in facilities management or building services industry/consultancy.
* Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (M&E), HVAC, and refrigerated equipment.
* Familiarity with Building Management Systems.
* Experience in project management and overseeing the work of external contractors.
* Experience in building environmental/energy efficiency.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and relevant facility management software.
