Banking and Property Finance SolicitorDublin 2 FirmProfileWe are currently seeking to recruit a Banking & Property Finance Solicitor to join the Banking Department of this mid-tier Dublin 2 law firm. This is a great opportunity to work in a progressive and dynamic professional banking team with 2 Partners and an organisation with 40 members of staff.The role will involve working with a client base comprised of pillar banks, alternative lenders and also borrowers in different lending sectors. The role would require the successful candidate to:Take ownership of matters delegated to him/her to bring them from beginning to end;Work as part of a larger team where the mandate requires it;Work closely with other team members in terms of business strategy implementation and growth;Carry out property investigations and lease reviews and advise Lenders on same;Advise banks/borrowers in relation to secured/unsecured bilateral and syndicated loans;Perform other ad-hoc banking & property finance work as required within the Department.Required Experience:Excellent academic record;Good exposure to commercial and residential conveyancing during traineeship and since being qualified;Previous exposure to banking transactions is preferable but not essential and has a willingness to learn such banking transactions;Experience in commercial property transactions;Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team;Commercial acumen and excellent analytical skills;A sociable person, capable of communicating at all levels with an ability to communicate points clearly in a non-confrontational manner;A calm and measured approach to problem solving;A willingness to work hard above and beyond normal office hours if required.The Candidate:Ideal candidate will be 1 - 3 years qualified, with work experience in the relevant areas.Salary: Negotiable
