We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join our team in Cavan. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of an occupational therapy service to include assessment, diagnostics, and intervention and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of complex needs and/or disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing occupational therapy services to children aged 0-18 years with physical, sensory, learning disabilities, developmental delay, and autism.
* Assessing and diagnosing children's needs, and developing interventions to support their development.
* Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for children.
Requirements
* Be registered on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
* Have a high standard of suitability and professional ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
* Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
* Hold a valid driving licence and have access to own transport to deliver services across a large geographical area.
Desirable Criteria
* Postgraduate experience of working with children and families in a community-based setting.
* Postgraduate experience working in disability services for a minimum of 6 months.
